THE video blog..Pahk tha Cah in Hahvad Yahd

Hi bloggers!!

SNOW DAY!

Warning to all bloggers: I look like absolute crap..no makeup...hair is a mess..I am sitting home in my pajamas and watching TV loving life because I have a snow day! Yee-haw! I am giving this warning because I am doing a VIDEO LOG! I saw this vlog on other people's and thought it looked like fun! It's all about dialect baby!! I hope you all do it too! Dont forget to pause the playlist!

Aunt, Route, Wash, Oil, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, Sure, Data, Ruin, Crayon, Toilet, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Spitting image, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Syrup, Pajamas, Caught

And the questions to answer are:
  • What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
  • What is the bug that when you touch it, it curls into a ball?
  • What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
  • What do you call gym shoes?
  • What do you say to address a group of people?
  • What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped
  • body and extremely long legs?
  • What do you call your grandparents?
  • What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry
  • groceries at the supermarket?
  • What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
  • What is the thing you change the TV channel with?
Well...there you have it! Me in my natural habitat (not really...hence I'm home during the snow haha but you get the picture!)

I'm off to go shovel, snowblow, plow the streets, rock-salt the driveway..etc! JUST KIDDING! I am staying in PJ's allll day and I'm about to go bake these delicious peanut butter brownies I found on the blog Macaroni and Cheesecake.
Enjoy the snow if you've got it!!

xoxo

Love vlogs! I'm still mustering up the courage to do one myself -- maybe I'll snag this as something to talk about!

I detect a liiittle bit of an accent, but not as heavy as I expected. With the exception of a few words, you sound a lot like people around here (your neighbors to the south - CT!).

Thanks for sharing! :)

Oh my gosh, can I just tell you that you are adorable!!!! You kinda have a mixed accent! I hear a little bit of Southern and a little bit of Boston/Chicago! I'm so glad you did this! Seriously, you're precious!! I just posted mine, too! I think we talk pretty different!

I love Boston accents, and you definitely have one! I'm a lifelong Californian, and I don't think I really have a noticeable accent. I feel like my voice sounds the same as people in Washington and Oregon.

I just watched your vlog! You are so funny girl!!!
Funny the thing with the prunounciation of «bagel» because in French too we kind of have 2 ways to say it. B always tells me I prunounce it wrong! ;)

Hey there!! I am your newest follower - super excited to see this Vlog and to also see that you are from MASSACHUSETTS!!! I am currently living in Germany with my fiance but I live in Western MA in the summer. Looking forward to reading and seeing more of you - and I plan on doing this on Sunday, what a fun idea! Thanks for sharing :)

I give you props for the no make-up... I'm too shallow to do that... but then again you still look good!

You really don't have like a heavy Boston accent.. although I kinda love those... i think i like all accents. For example I started yelling "PAWWWLLEEY D. DJ PAWWLLLEEEYYY D" at my mom the other day
