A video: My boyfriend champagne showered me

Well, tomorrow is 2013!!
First, let's hope this New Years Eve doesn't make me look like last New Years Eve...

Erica + too many cran-vods = This ^

I'm really not good at New Years stuff....meaning making resolutions or reflecting on my year and what I have or have not done.

Sure, I'd like to say I'll stop shoving fistfuls of M&Ms in my mouth every time I walk by them or that I'll stop being a diva extraordinare  when it comes to Kurt and I's petty arguments, or that I'll work harder at the gym. But honestly, I'm just happy that I am happy. I love my life, family, friends, boyfriend, job, Lil Wayne, etc. I truly hope that 2013 is just as good to me as 2012 was.

I thought I'd leave you all with a 2012 video.
Because who doesn't want to champagne shower their way into 2013?! :-)

Ridiculous

I hope that you all have the most amazing New Years Eve and
more importantly, an even more amazing year!

Saw it, Pinned it, Did it...Reindeer Sock Bun!!

Ah! This is my first time linking up with my bebe's Katie and Steph!! Y'all, I had the pleshhaa to meet these fine ass ladies back in May! So I knew when I saw this link up, I had to do it ASAP!

And Miss Priss Hersellllllff!!!

Hoookay. So when it comes to crafting and baking and DIY, I'm all for it. I love trying new things, love feeling like I have accomplished something. HOWEVER....yes there is a however...I always find myself having a mini temper tantrum. I either fight with glue or find myself slamming spices into a bowl. It ain't pretty.

But when I saw this, I knew I had to do it...and knew I COULD do it. So BAM! I saw it, pinned it, DID IT!! Holla for a dolla Weezy! Here is the original pin...

Here's what you need!

1) Googley Eyes
2) Brown pipe cleaners
3) A red pompom
4) Bobbie Pins
5) Super glue
6) Sock Bun
7) Santa hat earrings and slutty Santa belly ring optional

The first thing I did was attach bobbie pins to the eyes and pompom with super glue.
Gotta make sure that ish sticks in your head all night long!

I cut the ends off of the brown pip cleaners and used the scraps to form the antler. I didn't need to glue bobbie's on them... I basically just stuck into the bun...those babies stayed put

Have a friend, or in my case, boy toy Kurt, stick everything in and monitor it ALL night

Heres mine!
Voila!!

I wore this to a Santa pub crawl last Saturday night and it was a HUGE hit!!
I am in love with it and it was so so easy to do!!

What do you all think!
So glad to finally link up with you girls!!

Important life stuff, but not really

The past few days have been blech and making me want to run into a stampede of wildebeasts
And to top it all off, I'm stressed out about what to wear to a Santa Pub Crawl this weekend

Speaking of stressing over outfits

I've been feverishly searching for something to wear on New Years Eve.
I've been googling "New Years Eve Outfits"
And mainly coming up with things like this...

I don't know but....I might get thrown outta da club
That, or everyone would keel over and pass out from my too hot to handle sex appeal

I'm really just looking for something sparkly and cute
Help please!

Oh so the other night I got down on my hands and knees and begged Kurt for a massage
So he starts doing it, all nice and sweet, then he goes
"Vood Yoo Vike a Sveedish Massage from a hot Sveedish Man?"

And he was completely serious about it

In other news...
I wouldn't say I have a Kim Kardashian ass
But I also wouldn't say my ass resembles that of Bisquick pancake
HOWEVER
The other night I did squats in heels, because I read once in cosmo heels help the booty tooch
I had also just watched the Victoria Secret Fashion Show

If that wasn't the most random spew of words, I don't know what is

But I hope you all have the best Thursday in the world
I have a work Christmas Party tonight
Let me just say it's at a tequila bar
Nuff said!

My soldier friend...

Last week I happened to be on one of my YouTube adventures. You know, where you start off watching something innocent like Lil Wayne talking about how he makes his Purple Drank, and the next thing you know you're bawling your eyes out to videos of soldiers coming home for the holidays.

I stumble upon these soldier videos quiet often---mainly because they make me so so happy....and the ones where the dogs run up to them? KILLS ME! I couldn't help but think of one of my friends, Tyler, serving overseas for the US Marines in a very mean, nasty, non-holiday-spirtness place.

Especially around Christmas time, I get the giving bug! This was no exception....and I just knew we had to send something to him so he can pretend like it's Christmas! UPS wouldn't let me send a life size Christmas tree, and Kurt refused to let me put him in a box, naked, with a big red bow for Tyler. So we had to make due...

I saw a mini handheld Frogger at Target....
....one left..
I had a mini fight with myself over whether I should keep it for myself.
But I decided to be nice and put in in his package.

Along with Mario fruit snacks, cookies, Christmas candy, some puzzles, legos, happy notes...
and THEE coolest thing ever found at Target; a light up snowman that you plug into a USB

I just feel really grateful to be able to be home with family and friends for the holidays. I wish to God all the troops could be too, as I can't even imagine how hard that must be for them. A co-worker was telling me how every year her and her family "Adopt a US Soldier" for the holidays which I think is the coolest thing in the entire universe! They send them letters, care packages, and anything that makes them feel more "at home."

Do you know any troops serving overseas during the holidays?
Do you have any care package ideas?

Something awesome to start your Monday

Happy Monday y'all! I am flipping TIRED. I went to New York City for the weekend with my sister to surprise my mom for her birthday (who was already there with my dad, and had no idea we were coming!!) Needless to say, it was AMAZING! I'll be sharing this week!

But in other words...I came across this recently and it was too creative not to share. I wish I had come up with it!

Photographers out there....DO THIS! :-)

Have a fantabulous day!!

15 days until CHRISTMAS!

How do you handle rejection?

I got rejected from a college 3 years after I applied to it. I kid you not!
I mean, who wouldn't want this gem representing their school?

When I was home from college one Christmas break, my mom said I had a letter from a college in New York telling me they regret to inform me I was not accepted and should try and apply next year.

Then I cried my eyes out for 10 days straight

Actually I laughed. 3 years later come on New Yawk!
But it did bring back those memories of college rejection letters

And rejection in general.

I came across a blog recently by a man who challenged himself and documented it
He has a fear of rejection, and pledged to make one crazy request a day for 100 days and vlog it
The purpose is to get over his fear of rejection

Like....

Play soccer in someones backyard
Ask for a tour in a grocery warehouse
Ask to be a live mannequin in Abercrombie

And my favorite
Ask someone at Krispy Kreme to make Olympic ring donuts

Seriously watch this!

I just thought this guys challenge was SO cool and so amazing and inspiring!
I just had to share with you all!
Check out his blog here!

I will be the first to say I don't handle rejection well either.
It scares me! And I hope one day to not let it bother me as much as it does today.

How do you handle it?

I birthed an Elf

No I am not with child…..yet ;-) However I thought it would be kind of fun to get an Elf on the Shelf for Kurt and I so that every morning we can see where he’s moved to.  Like I know I want to put him in a plastic bag and lay him in the toilet so when Kurt goes for his morning you know what, Elfy is starting him in the eye.

Also, when in 20 years the new Elf on a Shelf looks like a jacked, muscular version of an Elf, I will want to still have the original for my kids. Hello?! Have you seen Barbie turned to Bratz dolls? Not cool doll makers!

Anywho, we are lying in bed last week and I’m telling Kurt about the purpose of Sir Elf. How he comes to people’s homes to keep watch for Santa. I also told him he needs a name. I left Kurt in charge of the name, and told him to simply come up with something cute and random to name our Elf.... like, Pookie, or Chippy.

Jason.

He looks like he's thinking naughty thoughts, doesn't he?

Kurt decides Jason. First of all, we don’t know any Jason’s,
second of all, JASON!? Where did he even come up with it?

After I laughed my head off for the rest of the night, I decided
Jason was going to be his name.

The Adventures of Jason begins...

Unnecessary things I just need

Happy Friday folks!

Now is around the time I start panicking about what the fluff I'm going to get people for Christmas, and question what people really truly need. Like, does Kurt really need another gold pair of anal beads?

He's wearing them here

Annnnnyway...

I'm the type to get friends and family a serious gift and a funny useless gift just because.

I've been on the freakin' PROWL for gifts this year. Ever
since I can remember I been bookmarking like a biiiiiiish.

No but really I've been bookmarking things for the past 6 months and as I look through them, I realize half of them are things that I want, and are extremely unnecessary and useless! But viva la life

Honestly have you seen these? Wine Sippy Cups for us sloppy gals

Nuff said :-)

Shower Squids. They hold your stuff! How neat is that?

I also have bookmarked these booty enhancing underwear. BEFORE YOU JUDGE, I saw Bethenny Frankel wear them, since they're in her skinny girl line, and they just make the booty pop! Now, I don't think I have a flat as a board ass, but when isn't a little extra cushion for the pushin okay? Would you get them?

Are there any unnecessary items on your Christmas list this year?

I realized I wrote an entire post about how I'm worried about what to get people

And I just listed off shit that I want.

Priorities people!

K, time for weekending
Get buck wild!

Turkey Day recap including one minor meltdown

Well talk about a week late and here I am with a BRIEF thanksgiving day update. Thanksgiving was an amazing day as usual, spent with great family and delicious food, and watching the Patriots kick some New York booty. I also made these friggen turkeys which ended up only coming out okay.

After I had a slight meltdown when I couldn't mold the balls into balls because marshmallows resemble that of another white sticky substance, and then come to find out I just had to spray a wee bit of cooking spray on my hands.

I give you, Thanksgiving at casa de Jordan!
VOILA!!

Is it a big tradition in your neck of the woods to go out the night before Thanksgiving? Around here at least, you go out to the bars and BAM---everyone that you went to high school with is bumping awkward elbows with you and you have to make awkward small talk.

REGARDLESS. We had a blast per usual!
I heart my friends!

Although somehow, we ended up meeting up with my sister and her friends (sissy above little blondie with me). Let me tell you my lil sissy was 3 sheets to the wind by the time we saw her. We knew it too, as she was swinging some old man's braid around while he was kicking it on the dance floor as the oldest dude there.

I kid you not.

First things first

I am totally stealing this from one of my loves, X-Tina (aka Christina, aka fellow lil wayne lover from another motha) from Hungry Meets Healthy! I just thought it was a really cool idea!

1. First thing you do when you wake up in the morning.
A normal person with horrible eye-sight, like myself, would put their contacts or glasses on first. However I will grab my phone and read email, Facebook, texts and Instagram with my phone half an inch from my eyes. Damn you 2012 technology world!

2. First thing you reach for when you open the fridge.
Either grapes or water!

3. First things you do when you go to the gym.
After I shield my eyes from everyone getting naked straight in the middle of the locker room instead of going into the one of hundreds of changing stalls, I get changed and head upstairs to get it right get it tight. Aka die on the treadmill.

4. First thing you do you when you get home from work.
Give Kurty Bear a hug and a kiss and then immediately change into comfy clothes!

5. First car.
My first car was a 2004 Suburban! Well okay, it was my parents, but it was the first car I ever drove on my own—to school, out with friends, road trips, etc! My first car that I officially bought all on my own and pay for the bills was my current BMW X3—The Weezy Wagon; Black on Black on Black!

6. First car accident / traffic violation.
I was on the way to pick up my friend Liz to go to the movies when a little Saab ran a red light and I smashed the Suburban into his passenger side door. I saw his head bobbing and freaked the F out! Luckily a cop was right by there and saw the whole thing. Not my fault yahoo!

7. First thing you wanted to be when you grew up.
A Veterinarian. Until I found out I’d have to put animals to sleep. And stick things in weird places. Then that was a big fat HAYLLL NO.

8. First choice beverage.
Ginger Ale or Iced tea, cranberry vodka’s for alcohol choice :-)

9. First choice breakfast.
Cereal! I am obsessed with cereal. Cheerios, Cocoa Puffs, Kashi Crunch. I also don’t eat it with milk which I know is really weird, so you can hear me crunching away.

10. First choice dessert.
Funfetti cupcakes, cake, or cookies. I am in love with Funfetti. Think I can have a Funfetti wedding cake?

11. First song that comes to mind…
I’m currently listening to The Wobble so that’s what comes to mind! It’s a total workout jam!

12. First major purchase.
My Car!! For sure. And it’s a monthly reminder of it when that little email comes once a month telling me my payment was taken out. Ouch.

13. First job:
My first job was at a Dry Cleaner. I worked there for maybe 2 years, until I went to college! It was actually pretty fun! Especially when we’d find lots of interesting things inside pockets. Like business cards with woman’s lipstick marks, or needles, or Barbie shoes.

14. First time you flew on a plane.
To Disney world when I was 3 or 4! I blame my parents on my traumatizing plane experience because they did not forewarn me of the ear-popping business. Ever since then, planes and me do not mix! However, since then, Disney and I go together like peanut butter and jelly!

So my question to you, when did you first lose your V-Card?

Totally kidding!

Happy Tuesday! Two more days until Turkey Day!
