I went to the bathroom in 3 feet of snow

I want to fill all of you in so bad on my dogsledding weekend! But I have not uploaded my photos to my computer yet but will do that very very soon for you all!

In a nutshell? It was amazing. We're driving down this snowy "road" to meet up with the dogsledding people and what do we see hanging out on the side of the road?

A moose!! 

The photo of him laying down on the side of the road was taken on my camera. This was after he got up and went into the woods I took it on my Blackberry! I will show you more photos of the cutie! I was stunned! Okay..so I'm a city girl. I love the outdoors, but have NEVER seen a moose in the wild before. It was absolutely amazing! He/she has no antlers because apaprantly it's "antler shedding" season so they're starting to fall off of the moose!

A few other highlights from the weekend that I'll briefly share before I work on my actual post. I went to the bathroom in the woods. It was HORRIBLE ladies! Horrible!! I've never gone to the bathroom anywhere other than IN a bathroom! So we stayed in a hotel in North Conway, NH, and dogsledding was in east bumfuck Maine. So we had a good hour, hour and a half drive from our hotel to the trail that we were leaving from. We're driving, driving, slowly getting out of civilization. The only 'civilization' seen was a couple scary looking fire departments and maybe a gas station that I wouldn't think twice about going in. Here we are excited about heading to dog sled!! :)

I apologize for my boyfriend's inability to leave his eyes open and to remember to shave!!

Then, we were completely out of civilization! My boyfriend and I..driving through the woods in his BMW of all cars..realizing we should probably have rented a pick-up truck or a tractor to fit in! But I love the peace and quietness of the outdoors..it was gorgeous! So I start to feel like I have to go to the bathroom and frantically looking around for anything..even a port-a-potty! But nothing.

"Babe..you're going to have to go in the woods..dunno what to tell you"

I hear those words and shudder. We stop the car and mosy into the woods and I have no choice but to go. Meanwhile, my boyfriend is there doing his business so fast and easy. I'm trying to go, but I just cant. I can't make myself go! I was yelling at him not to look and to turn away. I must have pulled my pants up 3 times, temper-tantruming about how I can't go. 

"Just go!! Don't even think about it!" my boyfriend says as he is dying laughing

So finally I just let it out and feel so much better. But the experience was awful! There I was, squatting down in 3 feet of snow, having a tantrum. It was quite a sight!

Have any of you done this before? I now feel like a true wilderness girl. I saw a moose and pissed in the woods. Go me!

So I might be having another snow day this week. Which means I am going to bake something yummy for my boyfriend! I saw this recipe over at Life After the Aisle. 

OREO STUFFED CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE

Can we say HEAVEN?! That's a legit entire oreo cookie in there! Go check out her amazing blog HERE for the recipe! I love love love her for posting this because I absolutely love the *cookies and cream* flavor..and whenever I made oreo/choc chip cookies, I'd take the lazy way out and crumble some oreos into store-bought sugar cookie mix and just bake it. These, however, look PHENOM.

What's 1,890 calories, 24 g saturated fat, 2,964 mg sodium, and 125 g carbohydrates? Well, that my friends, those are the components for the Worst Sandwich in America.

1,890 calories. SAY WHAT!? That's an entire day's worth of food...add the fries and you probably get another 500 calories..then the delicious bread they give at Cheesecake Factory? Add 200 more! I cant take it. Why is food that looks/tastes so good, SO BAD. Well I know its all the fat and stuff they add but come on..eating this on a *cheat day* would set back your workout months and months! (ok maybe not) But thanks to my trusty friend Yahoo, I now know the worst sandwiches in America..and I won't be getting this one :)

I read this blog website everyday. It's called StoolLaLa. She's a Boston blogger..I've posted her video up here before about how she tricks people into thinking she's good looking. HILARIOUS! She does this thing a couple times a week called "Marry, Fuck, Kill" and it is pretty self-explanatory..she just gives 3 celebs and you decide who you'd marry, fuck, or kill! I miss Barbie dolls! But I don't have $25,000 to spend on Barbie...

Happy Monday and Oh...Happy -5 degrees! 

Yeah its flippin COLD! But hey it's winter...what can we expect! It's that type of cold that even breathing in hurts!

This weekend I went to NYC with the boy and we had a blast! More on that with pics possibly tomorrow! But one thing I have to show you guys. We went into FAO Schwartz..walked up the escalator..walked past the baby dolls, and came to this perfect pink bliss..Feast your eyes!

That's right. That's a bad ass pink Barbie Foosball table..hollaa! I was immediately in love and proceeded to take photo after photo after photo of it. I posed with it..I pretended to play...whole nine yards. All while my poor boyfriend played photographer while wondering why this was so amazing to me. Barbies! I totally miss playing with Barbies. 

FAO has a Barbie section where this Foosball table was and there are all the collectible Barbie's, Disney Barbie, create and style your own Barbie, and even all the old Barbie cars/sets/houses. I've been to FAO numerous times but this was the first time I'd seen this Foosball table. Oh..it's $25,000 and there are only 10 of them in the world!

I totally miss Barbie. I miss her shoes, her clothes, finding her shoes in my dogs poop, playing with her hair, dressing her, etc etc. I don't really give a crap about those people out there that say Barbie is some sort of fake girl and stereotypes what girls should look like.

Message to you all: IT'S A TOY..STOP BEING SENSITIVE! 

I don't strive to look like Barbie. I have brown hair and my boobs are not huge. I don't wear mini skirts and heels on the daily. And I most definitely don't drive a pink corvette and if I do drive in a convertible, my hair doesn't perfectly stay sexily blowing in the wind..it gets tangled! But I damn well enjoyed playing with Barbie.

But wait...Have you guys seen this?

That is the BARBIE suite at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas! $4,000 a night to stay in that pink pretty palace! Insanity..I just want to go in an look at it. I bet it smells so good..like cotton candy or something sweet. It just looks so fun! Oh phooey this just makes me miss Barbie. The one thing I didn't have when I was little was a My Size Barbie. Remember those!?

These are contortionists from Cirque Du Soleil "Kooza" and they are so freakin flexible. Want to hear something else crazy? The info on this video says they are 11, 15, and 17 years old! If you've never been to a cirque show..you MUST! I've been to one in Las Vegas and one in Disney World. Amazing..and pretty much makes me want to sit with my legs over my head for hours to improve my flexibility. Wah!


Last night I watched two of my shows..Beverly Hills Housewives and Jersey Shore.

If I could live in any one of these girls' shoes it'd be Lisa Vanderpump's. Literally...Love the way she always wears Loubitons..even to a WINERY!

My housewives didn't fail to disappoint me. But it was one of the saddest finales of the housewives series! I wasn't expecting a huge blowout like that. And okay....Taylor said she needed a vacation to Mexico. Isn't just LIVING in Beverly Hills vacation enough!? Beautiful weather, palm trees, smokin hot men with washboard abs. I'd take a vacation there! (Though I'd most likely spend it dragging my boyfriend around on the hunt for celebrities and their houses)

This weekend I'm off to New Jersey with the boy. I think I'm going to give him pouty lips so he takes me into New York City on Saturday. Hey..I need to start practicing more with my new SLR and perfect place? NYC! I also really want to check out the Sex Museum. Yes, I said it. Supposed to be an amazing museum and verrry interesting haha Has anyone been?

I've been writing my LOVE STORY of when my boyfriend and I met so I will share that with ya'll soon! In exactly one week (January 28) it's our 4 year anniversary! Whoa. I've really been ball-and-chaining it for that long!? hehe just kidding..I'm excited!

Martini Bars, Tamagotchis, and cuteness.

Last night my boyfriend and I were laying in bed before we went to sleep, just having our usual *before bed pillow talk* We were talking about these...

Does anyone remember these!? Tamagotchi's. They were a major fad in the 1990's and were supposed to prepare young people for taking care of something in a motherly/fatherly way...making sure they ate on time, making sure their shit got cleaned up, and making sure they were played with. I am not ashamed to admit I had 5 of these. I had an original Tamagotchi, a puppy, a kitten, a baby, and a dinosaur. And there they were..gigantic things taking up my keychain that was also filled with Gimp, and those fun-size stuffed animals. 

I was obsessed!! I remember getting in trouble because I brought it into school and it would go off every few hours whining of hunger. And okay..last summer I was packing to go to Hilton Head with my boyfriend and his family. I was looking through a drawer for bathing suits and waaaaay in the back I found my puppy Tamagotchi. And you better believe I brought that on vacation! It helped me for some of the 16 hour drive down to South Carolina! haha Granted, his family poked fun at me..it was fun to relive the memories. And it died on the last day. I woke up and there were 6 or 7 giant piles of crap around him that I neglected to clean up before bed, thinking he'd be okay, and he had big X's on his eyes. Ouch. I hope I treat my puppy better (when I get one haha)..and my KID!

Does anyone watch the show Four Weddings on TLC? Basically 4 brides are getting married within the same few months (they are all strangers). They each attend each others wedding and rate their dress, food, venue, and overall experience. Definitely watch it if you haven't! The reason I'm mentioning this sort of has to do with my usual Thirsty Thursday post. I saw an episode the other day where they had this..

A martini bar!! I want one of these at my weddings I think that would be the coolest thing ever! One of the girls on 4 weddings had it and the bartender made an array of different martini's and put little signs in front of them for what they were, and guests were allowed to just take any one they want. I think it'd be SO COOL! I mean, of course I'd have a limit because I wouldn't want my bridesmaids drunkenly trying to mack on my in-laws by mistake, but for real. This is so cool! Ok I need to start writing all my wedding ideas down before I forget them! hahah! :)

But holy moly..I can't remember the last time I absolutely pigged the EFF out on McDonalds, Wendy's, BK, Sonic...anything. Granted, it does make me feel shit-tastic the next day, its soooo gooood. Cue the cravings riiiiight now.

Devil blogger!!

I’m thinking of creating a new blog because this one SUCKS! And by sucks, I mean I must have played around with something by accident which caused an epic failure of blogger! But don’t you all worry it’ll be the same..just a new blog because I fiddled with a few things last week which completely messed up stuff with my posting/publishing! who knows why! I will most likely be doing that this week so I will alert my fellow bloggies! Blahhh!! It sucks but hey..I guess there’s a reason I didn’t go into computer technology huh! But I'm gonna keep an eye on blogger the next few days and maybe it'll fix itself! (i hope!)

So I will let you all know about this change :)  Anywho..last night at the gym, I had uploaded a bunch of new music to my i-pod and was ready to have a great workout! However, my gym has TV’s on all the cardio machines so when I step on the treadmill, the TV automatically turns on. Fine..whatever. I put my ipod on and glance up at my TV and it’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians. I couldn’t whip off my ear-buds fast enough and plug those babies into the treadmill. I cannot help myself. I love that show..I love that family..I’m OBBSESSED! Love their clothes, their life, their personalities, attitude, EVERYTHING! I can’t get enough of the show and am psyched for Kim and Kourtney Take NYC! This whole little rant just makes me realize how unfortunate my priorities are. Instead of attempting to have a good run/energetic workout, I watched Kardashians and walked at 4 MPH..pshh there’s always tomorrow!

For some reason, The University of Nevada, Las Vegas was coming up on *trending now* under Yahoo when I went to my homepage. I started thinking about it. Imagine going to that college and not being able to enjoy ANYTHING there until your junior or senior year!?! You’re 18,19, and 20 years old in Las Vegas..with clubs/bars/strip clubs legit right outside your door and you’re stuck drinking Mikes Hard Lemonade out of a can and hiding your underage drinking from the campus PD. Don’t get me wrong..those were THE DAYS..hiding your drinking, drinking cheap alcohol, etc. But I can’t picture myself going to college in SIN CITY! I’d be searching damn hard for a fake ID (kidding! I’m sure Vegas is preeettty strict on that!) haha! I'm sure this university is hella fun though!

I'll let you all know if there's a blog change! I'm sure you're dying to know :) heheh

Tuesday Snoozeday..and very snowy

It's Tuesday. It's very snowy. Icy. Freezing rain! Ick

I haven't made one of these yet this winter..and that kind of upsets me.

But this weekend I DID go skiing finally! Granted, it was a small mountain near my town and maybe 10 trails were open, it was still a blast to slip on those ski boots, warm clothes, and hit the trails! Here's me Friday night!

But other than that, my weekend was completely relaxing and great! I did however, make a very important decision in life. Like..really important. I'm getting something new VERRRRY soon..

That's right! I-Phone is coming to Verizon! Time to get rid of my dinosaur aka Blackberry Original Curve! Ok I admit I am very upset to part from my Blackberry. She has been with me for 2 years and I love her! But the I-Phone..oh man..I cannot think of a better looking, prettier, more high-tech gadget to have! And even better having it in VERIZON! I can't wait to play Angry Birds all day long! Will I like the I-Phone!? Do any of ya'll have it!? I'm so used to pushing buttons..not sure how I'll like the I-Phone..but I do have the I-Touch and love love love it! Yeeee!

I read a lot of Golden Globe blog updates but must point out my absolute FAV FAV FAV dress choice. Eva Longoria! Loved her Zac Posen dress she looked Ah-Mazing! Who do you think looked best??

Today feels like such a blah day! Looking forward to going up to Maine in 10 days dog sledding and celebrating my boyfriend and I's 4 year anniversary. I think this week I am going to write my boyfriend and I's "love story" as I've seen written by my fellow bloggy buddy Mackey Madness! Part 1 of her story was so cute! I'll be sharing mine soon :)

It's Friday so here's a video!

Hi everyone :)

So blogger and I are in a huge giant fight. I have been fighting with him for 4 days! Listen to this. Yesterday, I posted a blog at 9:15 AM and it showed up on my blog, but didn't show up on ya'lls reading/blog update list until 4:30 PM! (I follow myself just so I can see if there are any issues!) Legit! What is wrong with this dang thing! So my posts..are showing up hours and hours later on the reading list and frankly, it's causing me to be a cranky baby! Any feedback or similar troubles with anyone!?

Okay phew! Just had to vent! BIG game this Sunday holy crap. Patriots vs Jets. No question here...we absolutely murdered the Jets a month ago and are gonna do it again! YEAH YEAH!!

I'm going skiing tonight. I am absolutely PUMPED. I haven't slipped my skies on since last winter...it's been far too long and I cannot wait! Check out this absolute White-Out last winter at Sugarloaf Mountain in Maine. Note to self-invent flattering ski clothes that don't make me look like an oompa loompa.

Um I just have to show you guys one thing. I heard about this on the radio and had to look it up immediately. There are no words for this nonsense. This is rap star Gucci Mane.

Like..really? When you're 70 years old and putting on your wrinkle cream in the mirror and admiring your bald head, you're still going to have that IN YOUR FACE friggen ice cream tattoo on your face. Come on man...you look like an idiot! The only man in this world who is allowed to have tattoos on his face is Lil Wayne..because he is sexy..and hot. 

Okay this video..melts my HEART! Not sure if you have seen this, but it's probably the cutest marriage proposal in the entire world.

A random Thursday but cocktails are involved

Happy Thursday!

So I did my first VIDEO LOG yesterday about my dialect! It was so much fun and I loved hearing everyone elses voices so check it out if you haven't! :)

It's almost the weekend and I could not be happier...BUT...even more happy that Monday is a holiday and I have a day off from work! Martin Luther King Jr. Day! I will be celebrating by reciting the *I have a Dream* speech! Just kidding..but in like 8th grade I had to come up with a speech on the environment and I used the I have a Dream format to create it..I was cool.

So I need some advice from you all. I'm thinking of throwing out all my current makeup, making a little trip to Sephora, and telling the makeup artist to have her way with me and sell me some new make-up! What do you think about this? I'm so sick of my makeup I just want new, pretty-full stuff and learn how to do some cool things from the artist. I don't want to spend more than like $100 so is this possible in Sephora?

I want to learn how to do this..I think it'd be appropriate for work right?

That eye looks freakin PIMP! Though it makes me wonder if it's one of those press-on eye shadows or if they really put makeup on like that. Either way..its amazing looking! So that's a little errand I need to do soon..Operation New Makeup!

So thinking about makeup kind of makes me miss high school. Well, more PROM it makes me miss! I really miss going out, looking for a pretty dress, getting hair/makeup done, taking a limo to the prom, etc. I realize proms always costed between like 400-800$ for some when you've got the hair, makeup, dress, tickets, and yes I was one where it cost that much for EACH PROM! But now, it seems silly to me! Granted, it was usually my parents who paid for the stuff because I didn't have a big paying job, but still! If we spent that much on prom, how much are our weddings gonna be! Sheesh!

I realize this was SUCH a random post but it's just one of those random days where things are all over the place in my mind! But low and behold...I have a cocktail recipe for you...it is Thirsty Thursday and all! Yes its freezing cold and puking snow and ice and blizzards and icy roads BUT...this cocktail is summery and beachy and warm and fuzzy and pretty and cute.

Pink Lemonade Cocktail!

Ingredients

oz vodka

Sour mix

Cranberry juice

Directions

Fill shaker with ice.

Add vodka.

Add equal amounts of sour mix and juice.

Shake.

Serve in a tall glass with ice.
