I wanna steal a Bugatti -- Blogmopolitan Quiz!

Note to all cops who may be reading this: If you see a Bugatti buzzing through Boston at 99 miles an hour down Newbury Street, don't automatically assume it is little old me! 

I was so excited to fill out this quiz! I also realized my handwriting resembles that of a child learning to trace letters the first time. Apparantly I don't write too neat in marker!

I'm hoping I don't get kicked in the vajay for hating Will Ferrell. So many people give me grief about that!

My little sis is ahead of me in life

On Friday my sister and mom met me for lunch at work while they were on school vacation (they are both teachers). Not to rag on teachers, but although they both have weeks of vacation a year, holidays and an ENTIRE SUMMER OFF, they still bitch about having to go back to work after vacation! Oy vey! I love you teachers though :-)

Anyway, after lunch they were going to go get a manicure. My sister was heading to dinner that weekend with her boyfriend to celebrate 3 years together, and my mom said to me "Jeff told Lauren to get her nails done before dinner."

My mind immediately was like, oh really now? really? Is she getting engaged? Fortunately my mom was joking.

My sister Lauren, though 16 months younger than me with 4 years less time with her boyfriend than I, is about 10 million steps ahead of me in life. I don't like to compare myself with other relationships, but i feel like i am on the fast track to no children, no ring, no wedding. Okay maybe I'm dramatic.

Lauren and her boyfriend are currently in the process of building their first house. Her boyfriend Jeff is a big time hunter, so they got about 29 acres of land in Rhode Island that he's also able to use as a simultaneous hunting ground. Poor Bambi :-(

Might I also mention, Jeff has two nephews…a 5 year old and a 7 month year old, so she's getting all the practice with holding little babies, changing poopy diapers, teaching them things and listening to sing-a-longs. We went to visit them last weekend to see the land and the kids…gooooood LORD I fell in love with the little munchkins! I haven't held a baby in over 10 years! (Dead serious.)

So needless to say, I've felt a little off! Not that I am not enjoying my life as is, with no worrying about mortgages or whether I want homemade or jarred baby food, but it did get me thinking.

Anyway, I just felt like spewing this out to get it off my chest!

I needed a break, I'm back, and need advice!

Guys….I have a confession. I totally needed a break from blogging. You ever get that feeling?

I was beginning to get that worry feeling about not posting every day, not commenting/reading everyday and that's kind of the exact opposite way I should be feeling! I don't ever want to feel like blogging is a job! So, I decided to take a lil break and am back!

I wish I had the most exciting news to share, like that I'm engaged, bought a house, fooled around with Lil Wayne, but sadly I haven't had much excitement lately. Work has been kicking my boot-ay, in a good way :-) But life has been work, work, work, eat, sleep, repeat. Finally, I'm beginning to come up for air and it feels good!

Actually hold the phone. I do have something exciting I realized I haven't shared yet! I'm going to my first EDM concert in April and I have zero idea what to expect…

I'm going to see Avicii when he comes to Boston! I am beyond excited! I have a wide taste in music…clearly hip-hop/rap trumping them all, but I do really enjoy Avicii's music! The problem at hand is this. I have absolutely NO idea what to expect or what in the world to wear.

I've been googling outfits, because I mean come on, you would too right?! I'm seeing a lot of interesting things…

Needless to say, I'd get some looks at the bars my friends and I are most likely going to before the concert for some drinks. But in all honesty…what the marshmallow fluff do I wear? Can I wear my leather skinnies and a neon crop top? Should I wear shorts and bright neon knee socks? Help a sista out!

I am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things! SO much fun amazing stuff coming up in the next few months that I am dying to share with you all! I missed you! (seriously)

Exciting news involving Las Vegas...

Something is about to go down...that's been in the planning 

stage for almost 2 years. Seriously, TWO YEARS!

A Las Vegas trip is going down, that's what's happenin'!! With none other than these fabulous girls, who I have known now for almost THREE YEARS!

Miss Shalyn, Sabrina, Rissy, Ashley and I will be hard hitting Las Vegas the first weekend in April and we liiiiiiterallly cannot wait! I could SCREAM!!!! This has been a long time coming and I know we are going to have the absolute best time in the entire world! We've had a group text going on for the last few years, talking nonsense, serious stuff, laughing, sharing silly pictures and recently, planning this trip.

We've all met someone in this group. I've met Shay and Sabrina, Ashley has met Rissy, Shay has met Rissy, but never together. It will be like the puzzle is complete. A puzzle made of laughs, bikinis, tropical drinks, dancing, sleepless nights, hotel rooms full of clothes/makeup, conversations and love!

Might I ALSO add! We get to see this pretty lady who you also may recognize, Ashleigh!! :-) A real life Vegas girl, letting us come in and wreck havoc in her city!! It's going to be one huge blog fest that I cannot wait.

More details to come of course, but for now, we are counting down, and we are excited! I've also took the liberty of purchasing a new bathing suit because it's only right. Now we just have to figure out how to wait 50 something more days! :-)

Pregnant in the spotlight!

Sometimes I wonder if I could ever be a celebrity constantly followed around. I was watching Keeping Up with the Kardashians the other day and they were talking about Kim's baby. Wait first, did y'all hear about Bruce Jenner apparently wanting to become a woman? Who knows if it's true but even though that family is wacky, I can't stop watching.

When Kim was pregnant, she spent almost an entire episode trying to figure out how she's going to get to the hospital when she's in labor, how she can sneak out, etc. IMAGINE?! I mean, I know my neighborhood will be stalking me when I'm leaving my house to go to the hospital, but that's only because I'll be screaming bloody murder and ordering my husband around to make sure he packed everything up.

I came across this artist who depicted KimYe's life with baby North and literally DIED. I had to show you all. I can't get over how much this guy looks like Kanye either!
