The power of makeup

Okay. I have to show you the coolest/weirdest thing I saw yesterday online. It really shows how makeup can be such a craaazy thing! I wish I could do things like this!

There's this girl, and she looks like this on the reg:

source DailyMail

Then she can make herself look like Miss Jolie:
source DailyMail
 And MJ
source DailyMail

And Mona Lisa

As Miss Priss herself would say, HOW THE HAAYYYLLL?! How does someone do this. How can I do this? I'd love to go out one day looking like bombshell Adriana Lima or randomly Tina Fay...or Lil Wayne.

Can you, or have you ever made yourself look like a celeb? I want to know!!

Happy Humpday!

That time I owned the ugliest car in the world

If you googled a previous car I owned, it would come up with things like

Ugliest car in the world
Ugliest car ever made
Ugliest car to ever walk the streets

I swear to y'all! It's called a Pontiac Aztek. And I owned one!

Right? Funny looking huh! But I think some of the funniest memories are made in cars. Like the time it overheated in 5pm rush hour traffic Or the time I tried to race someone off the light and the gear wouldn't switch. Or the time my dad told me it had a built in tent. Yeah...

The point of this? Well there isn't much of a point. But my friends and I constantly joke about the hideousness of this car. And if we happen to find one roaming the streets like a BOSS, we take a picture and text it to eachother. So in my iPhone library, I have about 50 photos of this untamed beast to send to my friends.

And we speak of it as if it's a rare creature in the wild. So far it's been spotted in Connecticut and Florida.

Sometimes ya gotta laugh at funny situations. Like this car that I had. I'm serious...it was fugly. But I loved it! And hey...I did finally upgrade!

Happy Random Tuesday!

Do I look like these celebs?!

So y'all. Raven is doing this pretty sweet doppleganger thing! Check out hers....one involves boobs and cameras and in and out motions.

A Mommas Desires and Pacifiers

Okay so MINE....I dunno...I usually get Anne Hathaway when people tell me I look like a celebrity. I don't see it, but others do for some reason! Here are mine!

I'm okay with some of these except for that first hag. WHO is that? Do I really look like her? Maybe because I was 3 glasses of wine deep in that picture I supplied and have sort of that sheepy drunk smile like she does. No bueno!

And Tyra? Am I smizing?

I'm kind of excited about Jessica Alba because she is gorgeous...but I really don't look like her in real life. I promise. Damn!

So then I felt like doing Kurt, but honestly, I didnt even have to do a doppleganger for him because he already looks like someone famous!

heheh :-) Slight resemblance eh? I'm kidding...but they have a pretty similar pose in this!

But in actuality...everyone that's ever seen the movie The New Guy or Road Trip, thinks Kurt looks like DJ Qualls. What do you think?!

I see it I see it!!! Kurt, you are way better looking don't worry. And I know you are reading this because you can hear me cracking the hell up and I won't tell you why. This. Is. Why.

Happy Tuesday!

Fingers up the bootay and a blog video

If that wasn't the most random (and nasty) blog title in the world, I don't know what is. But relax..it's not sexual. Or is it.....

You know what's really funny? Sticking my finger right up Kurt's butt while standing in line at Target, or walking through a really busy aisle in the grocery store, or while he talks to his mom in his kitchen in New Jersey, or while he's concentrating really hard on something like building a computer.

It's just like a sneak attack. I come up from behind, and shove my finger into his butt (over his pants of course!) and make him jump up a bit. It's especially funny if we are in public and he has to act like he doesn't have something jabbing into him.

Call me crazy, or immature, or weird, but I'm weird so I don't give a hoot!

And in other news, coming to a blog near you...

(Copped from Rissy!!)

And these are just a few bloggers ;-) A blogger music video collaboration! HOLLA!

Happy Monday :-)

ZOO ZOO ZOO

I don't care how old I am. I could be in a wheelchair at 98 eating lunch through a straw and hacking up a lung every 5 minutes. I will NEVER be too old or too mature for a trip to the zoo. This past Saturday Kurt, myself, his brother and his brother's girlfriend ventured into DA BRONX to The Bronx Zoo. One of my favorite zoo's ever!

Have you ever been to a zoo and it looks like the animals are exhausted, hot, or just had the best wild animal sex of their life? Aka, they're just laying there. Yeah...we all have. Our trip to The Bronx Zoo was the complete opposite. Animals were lively. They were moving around. Jumping around in fact. There was a point where I wanted to just get in the middle of this playful bear fight for a hug!

I'm getting serious for a minute. Going to a zoo makes me happy. I know I know, there are some zoo's out there that don't treat their animals 100000% like they should, but I still can't help but get sentimental when I hear that a zoo saved an animal from mistreatment...or from the wild...or from anything. The Bronx Zoo totally does that..which is why I love it so much!

I have such a special place in my heart for animals! Hell, I even like them more than some people! Did I say that out loud? It just makes me happy to see happy animals!

Can we talk about Kurt's sneakers in that second to last photo for just a second? Bright red and black. What a damn baller huh? ;-) hahah oh Kurt...

Do you like the zoo? What's your favorite one you've visited?!

Happy Tuesday! :-)

First of all, this happened..

Been dying to share this with you all! Only two dolla from Amazon! Such a SWEET iPhone case!

And also...for the past 2 months or so, some blog-a-licious girlfrands and I have been talking about a potential meet-up to Oh Hi Oh (aka Ohio) And since it's driving distance for me, just makes it THAT MUCH MORE FABULOUS!

This pretty little lady even made a graphic! Stephy, you rock. I just can't wait to meet these girls!! (and boys...ahem Billy and Beau-Man!)

EEEK! Literally jumping up and down because it's happening! After months of planning and talkings...I could seriously do a flippin backflip!! So Katie, Jess and Steph...BAWSTIN will be there wicked soon :-)

Which by the way, I have to say for the millionth time just how much I love blogging. My trip to Texas to meet two blog besties turned real life besties is handsdown one of the best trips I've ever taken. Seriously, who would have thought the day I created this account, I'd be flying or driving around the country to meet such awesome, inspirational people! Makes my heart HAPPY! There are just so many bloggers I can't wait to wrap my arms around one day!

Happy Long Weekend my loves!

Facebook Funnies

I feel like I've written about Facebook a lot on this here blog. Liiiike here!

This could be because Facebook fascinates me beyond belief. The fact that someone created this media outlet that allows people to become grade A stalkers so they can find people they met on the train (I did that, what?), makes me wish I had come up with such a sweet idea.

Anywho, the other day I heard a little "boo-loop!" Boo-loop is the way I describe the sound Facebook makes when you get a Facebook chat message. Y'all know what I'm talkin' about. Anyway, I hear boo-loop and take a looksie. It was this kid 2 years younger than me who I played in the high school band with.

It started normal:
Him- Hey, how ya been?
Me- Not bad!
Him- It's been a while
Me- I know..what, like 5 years or so? How are you!
Him- I can't stop looking at that picture of you in the pink and black bikini

He then proceeded to send me the link of the tagged pic. As if I was a friggen idiot.

That's when I sort of sat there like ummm. This pic was added this past summer. He was creepin'! So me, who doesn't really know how to tell a creeper to S my D, says this:

Me- Awww
Him- Damn I wish I would have hit that

Rather than go off on him, I started to laugh outloud. Seriously. I sat on my couch and laughed. Then I typed HAHAHA and he signed off. What? Did he expect me to tell him I want to tickle his balls?

So in conclusion, as cool, interesting and innovative Facebook is, it has its creepers. And they could be your FACEBOOK FRIEND! Who played in the band with you. Which makes it extra nerdy.

Happy Hump Day!

The time we fought over painting our living room

This weekend Kurt and I had our first pre-marital fight. Okay relax...no engagement or anything yet people! But we had a "life fight." Over paint. Yes....PAINT. Don't worry...nothing TOO serious!

So a couple weeks ago, I went and got a couple paint swatches because I was itching to paint our apartment's living room a pretty tan color. This past Friday we were sitting in our living room and I was just like "let's paint the walls tomorrow." So Saturday morning we got up and chose a color out of one of the paint swatches. It was called Natural.

We go and open the can, and I said out loud that wow this looks only slightly darker than what's already on the wall. Then Kurt dumped the entire can of paint on my head and then dumped me.

Kiiiddding!

"Erica. It will be darker when it dries."

So there we go. We paint two walls, and let them dry. Still looked just like the hideous white/grey that was already there.

Left was the new paint, right was the old.

SEE? Slightly similar. I felt defeated. We had just spent 2 hours painting 2 walls and I was not happy. And Kurt knew this because I kept walking in and out of the room, hoping the paint color would change. Finally, I told him I hated the paint color and wanted a tan color. He stormed off and I stormed off and then he told me to go find a new color. Then he locked himself in the bathroom. What a child!

So I went to Home Depot and came back with a new prettier tan color. And we re-painted for the next hour in silence. I was getting splattered with paint because I was rolling that roller so hard with frustration!

Alas, we finished. Don't worry. I'll show y'all soon! Kurt finally admitted he liked the tan better than what we had. CHA-CHING. I just hope this isn't foreshadowing for if we ever buy a house together. Oy.

We swore to next time just call my dad, whose an interior decorator, to do the hard stuff! I trust his work! Wouldn't you?!

Yep...Dad, our next room will be alllll you! :-)
