So when I started thinking of my giveaway, I originally wanted to send myself wearing just a bow. Naked. And it would be a wicked awesomely awkward first BLATE. But then that might be innaprop. So my next idea was to giveaway things which I LOVE!

Something nice- my mom just got her tv set up in her bedroom and I programmed her DirecTV remote for her when DirecTv said they couldn't do it bc they didn't have the code.

Being a nurse means that I get the chance to do nice things for people nearly everyday of the week. The most recent included a young women whom attempted suicide and I did my best to cheer her up while she was in my care. I made her extra comfortable, spent a little more time with her and just flat out gave her a bit more TLC. At the end of my shift she couldn't thank me enough for caring for her in a non-judgmental way and for really going the extra miles. It's situations like that that remind me why I became a nurse!

I am loving all the Christmas spirit that is around! I was in Panera last night and a couple walked in laden with probably 8 extra large gift bags for the Angel tree, and I thought how nice that is! Then I turned back and two bicycles, helmets and all arrived as well! How wonderful are people!

I recently snuck in my mom's garage and put a gas gift card under her windshield wiper. She's constantly transporting my kids to and from, so I thought it was the least I could do!
I'm loving seeing Christmas through my 2 young sons eyes. It's so much fun to watch their faces light up when the see the Jolly Man or lights on a house. It's amazing how something so small can mean so much to them! Merry Christmas!

Over the weekend, I volunteered! My sorority's alumnae club has managed a needlepoint and gift shop in St. Louis for over 30 years. All the "employees" are volunteers, so that means that all proceeds go to local charities. I volunteer one Saturday a month, and absolutely love it!
If I won, I would pick the wristlet in Bohemian Sunset!
One thing I'm currently enjoying is my new job! I've been here two months, and it's been amazing!
