Deep thoughts with KE$HA

Thanks to all my loves for their sweet comments yesterday! :o) I literally love all of you. I colored Easter eggs last night and just wanted to show you guys :o)

ignore that pink/yellow one in back..i messed up!
But okay. I have a love/hate relationship with Ke$ha. I love some of her songs, but can't decide if I like her. I think one of my recent favs is her song BLOW. But her? I think she sometimes  tries to comes across as a Gaga/B-Spears/Madonna wannabe.

This video was uploaded the other day and I think it perfectly describes Ke$ha and how psychotic she is! Plus, this girl is basically one of my most favorite girls EVA! I don't know where this girl comes up with her stuff haha Enjoy!

Have a fabulous weekend and Happy Easter!!

Accomplishments

I was having a Debbie Downer day the other day. I got home from work and literally cried myself into an hour long nap while poor Kurt tried to console me. I screamed at him! I started going off about stupid dirty dishes that hadn't been washed, so he went and washed them. I felt terrible. Haven't you ever just had those days!?

I just felt so blah, and when I feel blah, I start picking myself apart, saying what I can do better, what I should do better, etc. I complained to Kurt and said I wasn't going anywhere in life and hadn't accomplished anything cool. Ya, I know..it's a crappy quality to have!

I woke up from my nap and somehow started looking through my photo albums on my computer. I came across one I took last February.

Clearly, that ain't me! But I took it.

At the top of Mt Monadnock in New Hampshire. Yeah, it's not a very known mountain, but it is known as the second most climbed mountain in the world, after Mt. Fuji.

That guy right there, climbed that mountain every single day for 8 years straight. 2,850 days to be exact. Not even kidding you..he climbed it every. single. day. He climbed it during blizzards, hurricanes, thunderstorms, heat waves, you name it, he climbed through it. But one day, he got pneumonia, and his doctor told him if he hiked it one more day, he could die.

Imagine your life after you don't climb that damn mountain? I mean, it was his goal every day..to hike that mountain and touch the marker at the very top. He was defeated. He was angry. But at the same time, a whole new life opened up to him. He could now go on other excursions he had been planning to do, he could now go visit family, go away for a weekend. He wasn't held back by his mountain.

I had the opportunity to interview him and actually climb with him..in freakin' February. I wore a pair of cramp-ons..those spike thingies that clip onto your shoes in case you slip and fall. YIKES! But it was an experience I will never ever forget.

It made me start thinking about my own accomplishments. He inspired me to want to set goals, and accomplish them. I have a few goals in life, but I think they're silly. I want to do some fo real..like somethin' big! I just don't know what yet...but life's too short!

Oh! You guys should tooootally read the article I wrote about Mountain Man..I promise it's pretty interesting and it really makes you wonder about things people do and why they do it. Plus, I wrote it, so why WOULDN'T you want to read it!? haha I'm only jokinnn

What do you guys want to accomplish in life? Do you know yet? Or do you have any plans?

The day I got arrested for smokin' a doobie

I was having bloggers block last night while thinking of topics for today. Am I the only one who plans blog topics the day before? Probably not! I got some super duper ideas from some of my lovely peeps, until I saw this..then I realized I had to share with ya'll.

What's that you ask? A rifle? Nope. It's an umbrella. A mall about 45 minutes from my house was on lockdown yesterday, with a SWAT team, 4 helicopters, a bunch of cops, firemen, and everything because of this umbrella. Apparantly, a man walked into the mall with a backpack and this was sticking out of it. He went into the bathroom, and someone called the cops.

There's the man and his umbrella!

After the cops were called, the guy left the mall, completely oblivious as to what was going on, and went to work. They were watching the news at his work, and news anchors were talking about the gunman and how he was still in the mall. They showed a surveillance camera of the gunman, and the guy was like HOLY SHIT, that's me! So he called the cops and told them about the mixup. Turns out, the umbrella was some type of Samurai Sword looking umbrella that also looked like a rifle.Yikes! I'd be scared out of my mind, but at the same time, I feel bad for the poor guy...but you can never be too careful right?

Have you guys ever been in a situation like this or witnessed anything similar?

Oh, and to "lighten things up," (pun?!) today is 4/20 aka Pot Day. Am I the only person whose never smoked a doobie in their life? I am proud of myself. Oh and this is probably one of my favorite episodes of Sex and the City. I don't know why this scene has Spanish subtitles though?
