A weekend where Barbies having sex was the most normal thing

Do you ever have one of those weekends that makes you
absolutely LOVE your life even more than you already do?

This past weekend was that! I got to see all my girls from college and their boys!

Holy crap. We had a freakin' blast!

So my friend Bianca's family has a condo up in the White Mountains in New Hampshire.
She's been living there for the past few months working as a physical therapist.
So we decided it was time to have a big weekend
And so we did!

We had one giant sleepover
Drank too much
Ate too little
Danced our butts off
Acted highly inappropriate which is normal
Made friends with New Hampshire locals (always a good time!)
And had an amazing weekend!

All in all, perfect weeknd!
AND! I get to see everyone again this weekend.

Oh and yeah those are in fact Barbies acting flirtatious.

It's kind of a running tradition in Biancas family that each time someone goes there, they put Barbie and her man in revealing positions. Last time they were hanging in a plant upside down. Dayyum Barbs!

Happy Monday

If relaxing was a job, I'd be given the boot

How cute is this Mickey candle holder we bought in Disney!
How cute is the stuff I didn't move in the background to make this a nicer pic?

There are weekends I want to go absolutely nuts and Pinterest the shit out of our apartment.

I'm talking taking advantage of the small apartment space, adding a fall decoration here, color code my closet, all while baking homemade brownies and planning my week's meals.

That. Never. Happens.
Mainly because weekends are when we try to relax.
And also because that scenario sounds pretty damn boring.

Kurt and I had a discussion about relaxation. Actually, we were eating at the restaurant in Nordstroms and it was more of Kurt telling me I don't know how to relax. I'm face planting into my sandwich when Kurt's all:

"Your idea of relaxation is building a house."
Oh no he di'int.

Speaking of building, he also told me I should think twice about ever volunteering for habitat for humanity because it took me about 2 minutes to hammer ONE tiny nail into the monstrous item we bought at IKEA this weekend.

It was so big it acted as a divider

Speaking of IKEA, can I tell you the horrific thoughts that go through my head when I walk through that place? Let's not forget the fact that we took Kurt's car to IKEA, got there, and realized we needed my SUV to lug this thing home.

The relaxation conversation stemmed from a conversation about honeymoons. We talked about places we'd like to go. After rattling places off I could never picture myself getting to on a plane, we collectively decided somewhere tropical, beachy, and a place we could just have fun. That's when Kurt told me I can't relax and just BE.

I'm a do-er! I'll be watching TV and think OH! Let me paint my nails! Let me stalk Facebook! Let me knit this quilt! (kidding). I just enjoy getting things done during down time, ya dig?

Are you a relaxer?
Happy Monday loves!

Trick or treat, smell my feet, gimme something good to eat

One quick note before I begin this post

Yes I wore more than just white shorts.
I just happened to have lots of pics on the days I wore them haha

Now that we've made that clear, have you ever been to Disney during a holiday?
It's absolutely MAGICAL! To put it simply. Disney goes ALL OUT.

We happened to be there when Disney was hosting one of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

We trick or treated, saw a special Villian's dance show, special Halloween parade and ended the night with absolutely AMAZING Halloween fireworks! Disney never freakin disappoints.

Trick or treating though. Holy Eff. What a blast!! We felt so young and aliiiiiive!
Excitedly bouncing from one trick or treat location to the next
Filling our candy bags with everything. Even mini Halloween PEEPS!

Granted, we should have taken a child for the night so the staff
would have given us bigger handfuls of candy

I kid I kid.

Anyway, the Magic Kingdoms Halloween and fall decorations were un-real, as you can see!

Can I go back NOOOWWW??!!

Happy Friday! I'm going to convince Kurt to plan a Disney trip during Christmas time. MUAHA
