Just some Friday funnies for you biddies!

Wow I cannot express the LOVE I have for you amazing bloggers out there and the sweet, positive feedback you gave me yesterday! I love you all so so so so much  :-)

I just have a lil something funny to show you all on this Friday! I absolutely love Ellen DeGeneres..seriously love her, and hate the fact that I have a job and can't watch her every morning while eating copious amounts of cocoa puffs. Her little skits are just too funny. Especially this Harry Potter one she did before the final movie came out. I legit DIED.

And this Bieber one she did the other day....omgosh.

Happy Friday! And more importantly, Happy Veteran's Day! Missing my grandfather everyday!

Bloggers, stop being MEAN!

Sometimes I feel like blogging has lost its "sense of community." It's support. It's welcoming vibe. I've logged onto twitter and blogger and seen stuff like:

Ugh...just unfollowed a bunch of blogs because they were boring the crap out of me

or...

Haha we hate the same bloggers!

or the worst...

To all you blog idiots...learn to write or get rid of your blog!

When I first started this little blog about a year ago, I remember feeling excited and anxious to see what kind of people were out there. I dont know how you all found me, but 6 of you stumbled upon my first post, and told me I was going to love blogging. You made me feel welcome. You made me excited to start this journey that I never knew I was going to have.

I find and follow at least 5 different blogs a day and comment saying hello, telling them I'm excited to read more, letting them know I am interested in what they have to say. We all clearly care what we blog about because otherwise, why would we blog?

I just hate that there is so much negativity in a place that is supposed to feel welcoming and community-like. Come on you meanies, be nice! We should be in this together!

I just want to say thanks to those bloggers who I know are blogging for the right reasons. Those I know are true to who they are. Those I can count on to make me laugh whenever I need a pick-me-up. Those I can call or text with a funny story or to tell them something random that happened today. Those I can read their blogs and think, "wow...this chick is amazing and inspiring and I love that she is so true to herself."

And to all the other 100+ blogs I follow...keep doing
what you're doing because I'm loving it!

So thank you to those who keep me coming back to blogland and who keep me wanting to share this little slice of the internet. I love you!

What memories do you want to make?

I would be lying if I told you guys I didn't want kids some day. I am dying to have kids. Specifically 3! Two girls and one boy..and I want the boy to be older so he can protect his little sisters.

Yeah, I've thought this through a bit. ;-)

I saw this commercial a couple weeks ago and fell in love. I'm sure some of you have seen it, if not, you need to watch and grab a tissue.

I want to do something special for my kids when they're growing up. How awesome is that video? Or if you follow Kelle Hampton's blog, Enjoying the Small things (my all time favorite blog), she creates hardcover books for her kids for every birthday they celebrate. So special!

Whether it be writing in a journal for them, scrapbooking, saving all of "their firsts," anything...anything that I can look at when they are 20 years old and just have memories.

I feel lucky to have grown up with 2 parents who did little things like this. Saving pictures, having hours of video footage, saving my first shoes, everything. This might be weird, but my mom has saved my sister and I's teeth when we were little and they fell out.

Oh hey old school mama and sister!
Mom..let me borrow that onesie

And my dad saves every single birthday card my sister and I have given him since we were old enough to write.

Annnd old school dad, rockin the 90's porn-stache again.
Looks like I am about to pull my sister to the floor

I cant wait to think up cute little things to do for my cherubs! What sort of traditions and memories do you want for your future kids if you want them?
