Hot or Not?!

Do you have any celebrity crushes that make people wonder WHY you think they're hot?

People make fun of me for some of the celebrities I think are hot, sexy, smokin' panty droppers. I'll let you guys be the judge.

Rick Ross aka Ricky Rosez aka Rick Ross the Boss aka I need to shut my trap

I think I just find his voice sexy. I tell Kurt all the time I think he's on fiya and all he has to say is "what?? he's big and fat and not attractive at all!" Pshh, whatever. He also couldn't be anymore opposite than Kurt.

Snoop Dogg aka the D O double drizzle

Like...how PIMP is he?! And his voice? Makes my knees weak! I've always been a fan of him. I like tall guys. He's tall. Therefore he is a looker in my eyes. I don't smoke weed but for some reason he looks so hot smoking. Am I right or am I right?

Billy Bob Thornton aka the best looking old man

MMM MMMM MMM. Bad Santa anyone? He's right up there with Hugh Laurie and Johnny Depp. Though I think more people think those two are attractive than Billy Bob. Plus I think the name Billy Bob is just amazing. I think I might just name my son Billy Bob, and my daughter Billie Joe. Then I'll move to Montana.

It makes me want to cry typing this next name...

Lil Wayne aka Weezy aka Weezy F Baby aka Lil Tunechi

Everyone constantly tells me it look like he climbed out from under a rock. PSSHH! Whatevs! He could slap me with those dreads any day he wants! I don't think I need to further express my love for him anymore ;-)

So what celebs do you find attractive that others really don't agree with?!

I am going on a BLATE cross country!

First, I am crediting the word blate with Megan! ;-)

Ok so, after almost 2 months of planning/figuring out, I finally hit SUBMIT on Expedia.com to book my plane ticket to see these two little cherubs!

EEEE!!! I cannot even begin to explain the excitement I have to see these lil ladies in just 9 days! AGH!!!

Okay but onto something a little bit more important. I haven't told my mom and dad yet. #woops. I've kind of narrowed it down to 3 options:

1) My flight is at 7:30 AM. I could text my mom at 7 AM and say "hey mom,
I'm on a flight to Texas to see two girls I met on the internet. I gotta shut my
phone off or the flight attendants will have a bone to pick with me."

2) I could just lie and tell her that I'm going away for the weekend to east bum
New Hampshire and won't have any cell service for the whole weekend.

3) I have thought about just texting her a pic of me in a cowboy hat one
day this week and saying"I'm going to Texas in two weeks to see
some friends," and then just hope for the best!

My parents will probably be weirded out and worried, but what else can I say?! I need some advice! Have you ever met a blogger and had to explain to your parents/friends that you feel perfectly safe traveling to see them? EEE! I'm 23 years old and still scared of my parents. #baby

Anywho, I just had to tell you that it's finally happening! Ya Ya Ya BayyyBayyyy!!! I can't be 110% excited yet because I'm so scared to tell my parents. HA! I am a pathetic mess.

Give me advice, yo!

Non bloggers don't get blogging

On occasion I've heard this from real life people:

"You're texting someone you know through your blog? Do you even know them? I don't get it"

"You want to fly halfway across the country to meet people you met through
the internet? Are you insane? What if they're an old guy trying to kidnap you?"

"If you meet someone you know through the internet
you're gonna turn out like Natalie Holloway"

JEE! THANKS EVERYONE! Get a blog and maybe you'll understand this phenomoman!

I started my blog about a year ago on a whim. I was reading medical blogs for my job and was like hey, some of these comments are pretty cool...these people seem genuinely interested in this blog post. So, Young and Fabulous was born! For about a month, I blogged about pretty much nothing and had about 10 people that were interested in what I was saying. Then, I made a blog email and allowed comments to be sent there and BAM!

The first person that I could seriously say "wow I wish this chick lived closer so we could hang out" was RISSY believe it or not! (believe it..haha I remember sitting in my little cube when I found her blog and I was like hmm..I think this girl is hilarious) Through Carissa's blog followers, I found more and more loves!

I never imagined blogging would turn out the way it did. I have met amazing people. I know so much about their lives via blogging and I just think that's fabulous. Blogging started out as a way to continue my love for writing, and turned into something more. Friendships. Daily texts/video chats. Daily emails. Facebook friends. I mean really, who wouldn't want to receive amazing pics like this on the daily ;-)

There is such negativity out there focusing on the internet and meeting people online. People take the horror stories and automatically assume every situation is like that. I'm sorry but, if I'm chatting daily with a blog friend and receiving pics/videos, I'd like to give them a medal if they're making it all up. That takes some SKILL!

So no, I do not think non-bloggers understand blogging. If they did, they'd understand the amazing friendships one can meet through this little website :-)
Seriously...can I meet all these girls RIGHT NOW?? We can go shoe
shopping because I forgot to add shoes to the fashionable triangle solid pattern dresses.

So what do you think? How do you explain to non-bloggers the kind of friendships you make through blogger, and it's not a creepy site?!

Happy Weekending!
