Instagram what the F?!

I have to begin this post with some good news. I am pretty sure my post yesterday where I talked about the dress I've been praying goes on sale, gave me good luck. I went on their website yesterday and it was half off. HALF EFFING OFF. White House/Black Market you rock.

I must have took my credit card out of my bag in about .000009 seconds and ordered it immediately. EEE! It's currently on it's way to my doorstop! Can I get a what what?

Just a quick little post here for you guys because sometimes I just don't understand Instagram. I was perusing my insta feed, like I do once every 20 minutes, and saw someone post a picture that looked way too good for a phone pic. Someone commented something along the lines of "awesome pic what filter is that!?" The person actually said it was a photo taken with their big DSLR camera.

Say whaaaa? I could be completely dumb and not know this, but are people really taking pictures on their big cameras, running to their computer to put the picture on it, emailing it to themselves, and then instagramming it!? That seems like WAY too much work! I can understand if someone has a a DSLR pic already saved on their phone and such, but really though, do people do that? Is that a thing? It's so easy to just snap-a-roo on your phone and that's that!

Meanwhile I'm just trying to find the most flattering filter. We know we all do it ;-)

(clearly!...)

And one other thing...

Who are those 12 year old boys on the popular page and why do they have girls commenting things like "OMG I want to kiss your plump boy lips with raspberry lipgloss" (I actually saw that once)!

I'm also loving the new insta video update.
It's awesome to see and hear people do things rather than just a still photo!
Have you done a video yet?!

Happy Thursday! :-)
2 more days until the weekend...we can do it!

My current situation

I wish I could muster up something other than a blog post of me complaining like a little bitch. I don't remember the last time I was this sick! Head cold with every symptom that makes me want to curl in a ball of stuffed animals and puppies on a white fluffy bed and just cry! I'm also typing this at 10pm looking like absolute crap except I'm wearing bright coral lipstick so I make myself feel less heinous.

That was semi-dramatic. Anywho, taking a lil something something from my Katie love and giving you all a current look into this life.

Lusting over...This dress. I've been creeping on it for weeks hoping and praying for the price to go down from 9 million to 1 million dollars. Actually not that much, but I must have gone to look at it once a week. Le Sigh...

Reading...THIS book, called Thirteen Reasons Why. It's a little dark, but a friend of mine said it was one of those books you just cannot put down. It's about a girl who had committed suicide but before she did, she mailed out a bunch of cassette tapes to different people who gave her a reason to end her life.

Looking forward to...July! Not only is it my birthday month, but we have a lot of fun plans coming up! Six Flags trips, 4th of July spent with the family and friends on our boat down the cape, did I mention my birthday?---the big 2-5 HOLY BAJOLEY.

Listening to...This song. I cannot get enough. Whenever I hear it, I get up and twerk and jam!

Dreaming...of purchasing a home. Kurt and I have started thinking about the whole buying a house thing. I'm traditional when it comes to living together in a legit home and want to wait until we are engaged or something. Ya feel me?! We live together now in an apartment, but you know what I mean? So far we've been looking at the South Shore of Massachusetts, on the water,  by the harbor--we are definitely ocean people :-)

Hope you all have a happy Hump Day!

Jimmy Buffett: We barely survived...

Well, we all survived the tailgating and Jimmy Buffett experience Saturday!

Barely though, as I have somehow come down with a sickness including sore throat, heavy head, body aches, the whole nine yards! I do however, know how I must have contracted this sickness but it is a little R-rated for this here blog so I'll have to hold off on sharing it on here :-)

Alas! We had such an amazing amazing time and I wish I could do it over again and again! We set up camp along with thousands of other parrot heads and drank, grilled and chilled the day away until it was concert time!

I'll tell ya this...if you listen to Jimmy's CD version songs and then listen to him live in concert, it's EXACTLY the same! He plays such an amazing show and is seriously a talented performer! Listening to him and seeing his set filled with all things Carribean really makes me want to go somewhere warm and tropical without a care in the world. I think that's what I love most about Jimmy Buffett and his music...he takes you to another place!!

We saw some spectacular, killer set-ups at the concert! Everything from a bus made into a pirate ship to tiki bars and of course, the people watching ;-) Our families and us had literally the best time!!

Have you ever seen Jimmy Buffett before? Seriously you must go if he comes near you! Hands down one of the best concerts and tailgating I have EVER been to!! Shh...don't tell Lil Wayne ;-)

And just because....

Oy...
