Drag Queens, tight asses and blog love!

FRIDAY!! Can I get a holla??!!

I have an awesome weekend ahead of me! Tomorrow I will be spending the entire day tailgating and drinking margaritas and rum punch at the Jimmy Buffet concert with Kurt, my parents, Kurt's parents and my sister and her boyfriend! I am beeeeeyond excited, as we are all Parrotheads, and equally as excited because Kurt's parents are driving all the way up from New Jersey; I absolutely love them! I've gotta link up with Whitney here with a little Jimmy to get your weekend started!!

But before I get ahead of myself, I have to just tell you guys something. Last week, I won a free Boston Harbor sunset cruise through my company, and immediately knew Kurt would be coming with me. Let's just say, upon further investigation, I found out it was a gay pride cruise because June is Pride month. This excited me even more!! Gay Pride supporter right here! :) We had such a blast! The cruise was this past Wednesday night!

There was a drag queen on board selling raffle tickets. $20 for as many tickets that could either fit around my chest or up and down Kurt's inseam (basically his peen area!) Kurt pretty much said something along the lines of "yeah...you can measure HER!!!" Needless to say, there wasn't much for them to measure on me, but I somehow ended up winning $1,500 to a spa for "healthy liposuction" as they called it. It's more or less a body wrap to shrink the fat...but yeah the man announcing it had a good laugh when he saw little old me. I'll most likely use the money to go for a mani/pedi or massage ha!

Speaking of shrinking fat...I did this booty workout from the gorgeous Tone It Up girls. Holy tight ass. My ass is on fire. You need to do this RIGHT NOW! I did it twice and I'm seriously feeling like I could bounce Lil Waynes grill off my ass it feels immediately tighter.

(If you can't see the GIF's find it here!!)

And fiinnnallly, I feel like this whole Google Reader thing going away is about to freak me out. What's going on with it? I don't even use reader! I read all my blogs through the Blogger Dashboard page! Is that really newbie? Anywho...I have bloglovin' so if you click HERE you can follow me! Or to the left of this post you should see the little icon! :-)

Love you all! Have the best weekend in the world!
Link up with Whitney for Back That Azz Up Friday too!
Speaking of which...she wrote a kickass post on google reader, find it HERE!!!

Stop wishing and just DO IT

I was chatting with a friend the other night who was telling me about how his friend owns a bar. The concept of the bar was cool and it had me expressing how I wished something like that existed in Boston. He said “open one!” Immediately I said, “yeah right!”

It got me thinking about how I am so quick to shrug off insane ideas, like opening a bar or traveling the world. There are so many places I want to see and things I want to do in life, but I admit I am a creature of habit sometimes and only do what’s comfortable! I make excuses for myself: “I cant take that many days off work.” “What if I hate this?” “What if I FAIL!!!”

When I think about some of the random things I want to try and do, they don’t seem all that hard to accomplish. It’s just a matter of mind and attitude to just effing DO IT...even if I think they're impossible. I immediately think of two things that I've been like, hmmm, I wish I could do this one day.
Play a round of golf in every state.

This has something that has always captivated me, though it’s nothing too exciting for some! I golfed at a gorgeous course in Florida a long time ago and it made me appreciate the beauty and design of different courses. Plus, I am pretty convinced that golfing at a course in the middle of the Arizona desert or overlooking a mountain in Colorado would be pretty stellar.

Find a random location on Google Maps and go there.

I’ve actually had this picture saved for so long, as a place I found that I just want to go see in person.

It's kind of a random spot, but one day I was creeping through the tippy tip of Italy and found this gorgeous street. A quaint, colorful town overlooking this beautiful vast greenery with the ocean and mountains. I was blown away by how peaceful it looked as well as how vibrant it looked. Needless to say, I want to just GO there and soak it up. Why not? How cool would it be to one day just put a pic of me in a Fedora eating Gelato next to this screen capture photo? :)

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” Ain't that the truth?!

Is there anything you've ever wanted to do but second guessed yourself? Happy Hump Day!

It's the freakin' weekend baby I'm about to have me some fun

I'm currently staring at Kurt's nasty ass foot as it looks like he is peeling 500 layers of skin. His 2 week old sunburn on his feet are starting to peel and he takes pleasure in peeling it (which is fine) but then rolling it into little balls before putting it in the trash. Gag me with a spoon!

Okay back to my regularly scheduled blog post! This weekend was so much fun I wish I could rewind it and go BACK to Friday at 2:00 when my boss told us to high-tail it out of there.

Kurt and I decided to hit the beach Saturday morning. We woke up early and headed north to Crane Beach which is in Ipswich, Massachusetts...close to Gloucester (Gloucester fisherman/Perfect Storm movie haaylooo!) It was gorgeous out! Also this beach trip showed me just how uncool Kurt looks in a snapback. But then again I don't look that cool either.

That night, we went out for a Father's Day dinner/watched the Bruins dominate! I also ate the biggest meal ever...spicy lobster over pasta and holy crap it was DIVINE! And I don't throw around that word for nothin! :-) We went to Mezzo Mare, a great italian place down by the beach. After dinner, we watched the last hour or so of the game down where my family's boat is docked. Let's just say the beers are 2$ and the mixed drinks are 3$....Hollllllla for a dolla!

I see you Kurty..

Sunday was spent with my parents and Kurt and we took the boat out for a Boston Harbor cruise and to get some lunch and drinks! Perfect Father's Day! :-)

There's my weekend in a little nutshell!! Lots of time spent outside which is always nice during the summer. Might I also add, I was a professional sunscreen applier this weekend and didn't get one ounce of burn---in fact, I may even have a little tan! That's huge for me. Caught the Irish/Scottish side of my dad while my sister got the Italian side of my mom.

Happy week! Link up with Sami and tell us about your weekend!
