Last night Kurt and I put on our Disney aprons. Well, I did...

Popped some yummy panini's in the panini maker...

Did a little knife work...

Did a little cookie baking...

And came up with these masterpieces!

Why? BECAUSE WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!

We booked a trip! We are Disney fanatics. If you haven't been to Disney before, you might be wondering why a 25 and 23 year old would get so excited to go. Just go there...and you will know. It's magical! And I'm so excited to be going back again with Kurt in September!

I'm just getting so giddy thinking about it! YAY!

Skinny pants and some vans

When I went to a Lil Wayne concert in 2009, he was wearing an extra spiffy pair of red VANS. At that moment, I needed them. But I second guessed myself and had internal conversations with myself about how I'm not cool enough to wear them if I bought them. I thought people would make fun of me and tell me I'm a wannabee skater.

So almost three years later, I finally took the plunge and bought a pair. BOO YEAH.

I really don't know why I'm blogging about this. Every post I write I think about reading this in 10 years and wondering why I blogged about buying red vans. Do y'all ever do that? Regardless, it was just a lil treat to myself, so why not share with you loves!

I can't tell you how fresh to death I feel in these babies. It's like my feet have swagger. My feet just want to do things they've never done before. I want to grab my crotch and dance like Chris Brown. I want to bust out the Crip Walk in the middle of the grocery store.

But for real...I really like them! :-) What do you think? Hot or not?

Oh there I am! It's me, Erica! Right after getting my makeup done for New Years Eve! Ya know, I rarely wear a lot of makeup...so I decided to go big or go home for New Years. And it was completely worth it! Pimpin ain't easy!

Phew. I've missed you all!! So what's happened since I last spoke to you guys? Well, a lot. There was Christmas...

There was an amazing little mid-week ski trip in east bum fuck Vermont...

And there was New Years!

I seriously love this time of year. When everyone is complaining about their cars being frozen shut and their feetsies getting cold, I embrace it! I love winter. I love hot chocolate...snuggles...warm PJ's..ski trips...smelling like a wood stove...going outside during the first snowfall...everything! Plus, this might be our last winter with the whole Earth blowing up next year ;-) #ApocalypseWorrier.

Anyway, I just want to thank y'all SO MUCH...seriously...from the bottom of my heart...for following along on this fabulous journey of mine! Here's to 2012! I love y'all so much!
