Death by cupcakes from Jenni

I just want to thank everyone for their support on my post the other day when I was being a little Debbie Downer! I love you all SOO much! :-)

Okay...on to more delicious things. Like these...

A few months ago I saw this recipe from Jenni at Story of My Life and literally just mouth-gasmed. They looked and sounded AH-MAZING! I just had to try. So I did, and they came out absolutely delicious! Jenni, you da bomb.com.

Oh and if you want the delish recipe, check out her post! Now go make them!

Oh...and I need some advice. Remember that time I told you guys I didn't put sunblock on and got a nasty sunburn because I'm stupid? Well now my legs look like I am going through one of those chemical peels where you have your skin peeled off to get more "fresh and clean" looking. I am not supporting this peel (or paying hundreds of bones for it) HA! That's the first time I used the term bones to mean dolla dolla bills...thanks to Ashley who got me loving the word!

But yeah...I have been lotioning my legs like 5 times a day and they are still peeling a bit. WAH! Help!

k byeeeee!

Life, it'll getcha..and now I'm stuck

Warning: My life is not always cotton candy, lil wayne, fuzzy puppies and rainbows.

Lately, I've been feeling like this

And all I want to do is this

I know I can't complain too much about my life. It could be a lot worse. But I feel like everyone goes through rough times at one point in time, right!?

So, bloggy-world, I'm feeling stuck. Stuck as in, I don't know where to go from here! I was laid off from my job and have no real responsibilities anymore...so what am I doing here? I'm 22 and am having crazy thoughts of moving away for a year or two just to experience a different lifestyle. I can't think of a more relaxing thing to do than move to Savannah, Georgia or Charleston, South Carolina and find a low-key job where I can work part time and write a book on the beach on my time off.

Does that make me ca-raaazy?!

It's nice to dream about stuff like this, but as I sit here on my couch watching DVR'd episodes of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, I can't help but think, "what the eff is stopping me from doing this?!"

So I made my first step towards this hopeful life. I applied to three jobs in California, one job in Indiana, and one job in Virginia. As I hit submit, a sense of excitement came over me. A million questions popped up in my head. What if I get an interview? Where would I live? And...drum roll...do any of my blog friends live nearby? ;-)

I want to feel accomplished in life again...feel as if I am doing something worthwhile.

DEMON EYES
So my friends, any advice?! Have you ever been put in a situation like this where you want to drop everything and experience something new? How do I get out of this funk-a-roo!

Beachy Friday Bishhes

By the time you read this, I will be sprawled out on the beach like this:

With my hat in the exact location because dis girl does not handle a sunburn on the face very well! And laying on my back because, yes my friends, that is my cheeky bikini I talked about a month ago. And the beach I go to has a lot of ghetto, pre-teen, "i'm 13 and drinking" kids and their wandering eyes can't handle my badonk.

And with my 10$ beach chair from Target and my 9$ beach towel also from Target, that says "Mermaid in Training."

And with my Kindle.

Happy Friday!
