What you wanna know Wednesday!

Happy hump-day my loves! 

I've only been in the bloggy world for a month so far, but I like it! Even though I probably don't have too many readers (yet)..it's still nice to just be able to write what's on my mind!

I thought I'd entertain you all today with a 10 things that you might want to know about me..or may not want to know! But feel free to ask me questions too and I will respond to them! =)

Hello there, beautiful city!

1) I'm from the beautiful state of Massachusetts filled with Boston, Cape Cod, chowder, awesome shopping and wicked scary drivers! hah!

2) I absolutely love to play golf and am a bit upset I don't get to play much in the winter!

3) I have a big passion for writing, journalism, finding out everything I can on certain subjects

4) Though I am not a chef, I love trying new recipes and I love trying to cook healthily..though most say I don't need to because I'm 5'6 112 pounds but I like to keep a healthy lifestyle =)

5) I've never in my life eaten cereal with milk..one word comes to mind--soggy!!

6) I have been with my boyfriend for almost 4 years now..whoa! engagement anyone? hello? hello? haha joking..I'm only 22 for goodness sake!

7) I love to drive with the windows open when it's freezing cold so I can blast the heat

9) I've tried blogging 3 or 4 times but was not into it. Blogging has evolved so much in the last few years and I truly enjoy reading every blog I follow. I find everything so fascinating..even if you're just talking about what you had for breakfast or what your kid did to make you laugh. Love love love it all!

10) I'm a HUGE tv junkie..you name it. All the real housewives spin-offs, real world, teen mom, one tree hill, 90210, LOST, House, kendra, bachelor, all those silly VH1 shows, home makeover...the list goes on and on. My boyfriend gets ticked off sometimes because I always have something to watch..luckily we have DVR! haha

Tuesday's Random Ramblings

Happy Election Day everyone! Get out there and cast a vote why don't ya!

This is a completely random post! So random, that I decided to base it on photos stored in my blackberry. I'll post some pics and tell a short story about what it means! This is basically due to the fact that I have nothing inspiring or educational to tell you guys! You guys should try this too! Go through your phone and tell stories of your pics..I'm sure there is something interesting that we'd like to read..I know I would!

I think this is the coolest photo ever!! And even cooler because it's only from a Blackberry! This is at a bar up in Ogunquit, Maine. It's a restaurant and bar, but outside there's this really cool fire pit (seen in my pic!) Anyway, I went up for a weekend getaway with my 3 best friends and we just had a relaxing time. This night, was sort of sprinkling, but since it was a hot fire, we didn't care and we just sipped our martinis and sangria's in the hot blaze! LOVE IT!

 

This photo was also taken with my Blackberry down in Hilton Head, SC. That my friends, is a jelly fish's nasty nasty sting! I've been a boater my entire life..going away on the weekend with my family to different beaches. Never in my life have I been stung by a jelly on a beach. I went to HH with my boyfriend and his family this past summer. There were warning signs on the beach of jelly sightings but I figured I was safe since I'd never been stung!

The first day, we went into the water. I'm sort of oblivious to currents and waves so I was just floating away and relaxing in the water when all of a sudden I felt this sharp electric shock it felt like! and it wouldn't un-latch itself! I screamed and ran out of the water..low and behold, it was a damn jelly taking a shot at my pathetic arm. Did I mention this was the first day of vacation?! You know where I was the rest of the week...sprawled out on the hot sand, occasionally going down to the water to dip my feet! haha

If there are any LOST buffs out there, yes I realize I'm a geek! haha these numbers on cupcakes symbolize the famous numbers frequently brought up in the show LOST. One of my friends and I are obsessed, so on the night of the show's finale, we made LOST themed things, and these funfetti cupcakes were just perfect! I do miss the show however!

Nope..not my car. Not one bit! That would be my boyfriend's beloved BMW. I have my own car, but I didn't feel like filling my tank that day (hey, I'm a college grad..we ain't that rich! haha) So while he was at work, I took it to the mall to do some last minute errands before we took the 16 hour road trip down to Hilton Head (yes, 2 pics from the same vaca!) I have bad luck when it comes to driving his car, and he doesn't like me driving it often..which is understandable because A- he is a guy and B- its a nice car!

So I head to the mall, do my shopping, come outside and find a gigantic hole in the back window. My face got so red and I started to cry..I couldn't even walk to the car to check it out, so I ran into the mall to find a security guard to tell him someone had tried breaking into my car. He immediatly started dialing away on his phone and told me something CRAZY! He said a fellow security guard was driving buy and saw the window suddenly just explode..come to find out, the 100 degree hot July weather had caused the glass to just blow out! Who knew!! luckily it didn't happen while we were driving down to South Carolina!

Anyway, needless to say, the boyfriend wasn't mad, and since I refused to drive it to the glass fixer, I called my dad and he took it while I drove his gigantic work van..oh my life!

Holy Caffeine !

Happy Monday!

I experienced my first caffeine addiction. Everyday at work I usually drink maybe 2-3 cups of green tea. I have always been told that green tea is decaffeinated. So I go home Friday afternoon and look forward to a weekend full of fun and I wake up Saturday morning with a splitting headache! I mean, it's really bad that I cannot even keep my eyes open. I went out the night before to a bar with some friends so I figured I had the case of the hangovers..but I only had 2 drinks! So after a little bit of whining and complaining to my boyfriend, he finally gets me a water, asprin, and something to eat. The headache goes away for a few hours..but later on, its BACK! 

I didn't eat that much on Saturday due to this headache, so I really didn't eat that well (bowl of cereal for breakfast, Chili's bottomless chips for lunch, and a salad for dinner). So come Saturday night, I'm still headached out and figures it's because I didn't eat well. So Sunday, same headache..hurts like a mother effer! So I'm complaining to my friend via text and she jokingly says "this is how I feel when I don't have my morning coffee!"

Oh crap..I think to myself..maybe it's because I haven't had tea in 2 days! So this morning at work, low and behold, I drink my tea and feel like doing cartwheels and backflips---no headaches! I need to ween myself off this addiction starting ASAP!

I hope you guys had a great Halloween weekend as well! My boyfriend and I decorated these bat gingerbread cookies in light of Halloween. How cute are they!

They came in a little kit with frosting and all sorts of yummy candy. I mainly used DOTS on mine because I wanted to eat the rest of the candy. Hey it was Halloween! Let a girl live a little =)
