Slutty Disney

I somehow spent $276 yesterday. No...not on important things like student loans, car bills, or boob jobs. But on clothing and food and a pretty new comforter and pillow cases. Oh and this...

It also doesn't help that the only reason I know this is because the financial website, MINT, sends me a weekly email of my spendings. I just picture MINT...sitting there all smug with a British accent or something "tsk tsk Erica...did you need that flounce skirt? Did you need to buy that pink nail polish when you have a color just like it? Hip Hip Cheerio."

Yeah so whatever I went shopping. Big Whoop. When I have a trip coming up, I go nuts and get excited! We're going to Disney in like, 31 days so I need some new things!

It also doesn't help when I have Kurt yapping away in my ear.

Kurt: Erica...we are going to Florida why do you need that sweater thing
Me: It's not a sweater thing its like something I could wear over a dress for dinner
Kurt: It's going to be 100 degrees plus humidity. You won't wear it
*drop kicks Kurt in Francesca's Collections*

Don't you get what I mean though? Vacation equals shopping for new shit!

Speaking of shopping. I am on the hunt for a wicked cute Disney shirt to wear one day to the park. Forever 21 has some. I thought I scored big time when I found this one. Until I tried it on and checked the size. A child's small.

I'd get some looks.

Happy Monday!

I had a nip slip

Is it considered a nip slip if no one sees it? Or if you aren't caught on camera? Yesterday I kind of had one.

I was wearing a shirt to work yesterday that was semi low-cut. Not inappropriately low-cut, but lower than a turtle neck. And clearly not that inappropriate because I don't have Anna Nicole Smith boobs with their own zip code. Except wait, can we talk about these bubbies? It's like they came out of the woodwork overnight. Blame Victoria Secret.

There I was, eating some almonds while looking at Instagram, when one of the almonds wanted to feel me up. I looked down and saw it sitting on the right side in my bra. So I pulled my shirt/bra out and down so the almond would free itself. I pulled it down a wee bit too much and a teeny tiny nip-slip occurred. Luckily no one but me saw. And then I laughed so hard I basically cried.

And while we are on the topic of random naughty things like nip-slips, did you know I could do this?

I promise I don't look like that in real life. But I mean can you really look hot doing that?
No ma'am.

Listen. It's Friday! Go do something crazy! I think we are getting out of work early today so I might be so wild and go scope out/stalk the Ulta they are building in my town. Or....I might go home and surprise Kurt by cleaning the entire apartment top to bottom. Except I know that won't happen. What will happen is I will go home and eat animal crackers and catch up on my DVR shows.

Happy weekend! :-)

The house hunting bug has arrived

I think I've caught the house hunting bug. For the past month, I can't stop researching houses online. Almost daily, I find myself checking websites like Zillow, looking at Pinterest for ideas, and Google Mapping homes. But in all honesty, I wish I could just live in a house like this and be done with it:

Only 10 million dollars on Nantucket. Maybe I should become a stripper on the side?

Sometimes I look at other states, like Texas or Illinois or Alabama or somewhere other than Massachusetts and get so jealous at how much cheaper it is to live there as opposed to here! Makes me want to move! Grrrrrr. But I can't leave my Boston!

Okay but let's get back to house hunting. So this is my own opinion and I'm not judging anyone, but I don't want to buy a house until I'm engaged and have some sort of long-term commitment. Am I wrong?

Yes, Kurt and I currently live together in an apartment where we pay rent, but I'd hate to own a home together and then something drastic happens. Like, Kurt decides to run away to Japan to build computers, or Kurt comes home one day and finds me in bed with Lil Wayne and Rick Ross. Not that either of those would ever happen, but you know what I'm saying?

Right now, we I have been looking. Kurt isn't too interested in looking yet because he hates wanting something so bad that he can't have. Psshhh whatever Kurt! I have my needs though. When we buy a home, it MUST have a dishwasher. No more of this wash dishes by hand shit. It also must have some sort of backyard. Those are my TWO little tiny needs! I think we can manage that! Oh, and perhaps a spare bedroom in case Lil Wayne visits. With his homies.

Even though an engagement isn't here yet, I feel like we can still look? How did you begin house hunting? Any tips?
