Bucket Lists

Do you have a bucket list? Or a list of things you want to do/see/accomplish before you die? I do have a list of things in my mind that I want, but nothing tangible…nothing that I can literally cross off when I do it, such as a bucket list. So I'm gonna make one real soon.

I think bucket lists need to have more on them than the usual visit this country, go skydiving, volunteer at a shelter…they should have some fun, spontaneous things too. These are a few fun things on my growing bucket list:

• Go out to eat somewhere and speak completely in a British accent no matter how shit-tastic it sounds
• Complete a scavenger hunt around a big city with friends
• Hand out pink balloons to grumpy looking people on the streets
• Choose a random destination on Google Maps and just drive there

Those are just a few little things I’ve come up with over the past months/years. I think bucket lists are fun. And who cares if people think they're stupid ideas..just tell them their STUPID for being boring!

Probably the biggest thing on my bucket list is to write a book. I’ve been toying with different ideas for practically EVER and just need to actually do it! I've come up with probably the lamest, cheesiest, nerdiest ideas, but hey...if JK Rowling can become a billionaire by writing about flying wizards, I can write about whatev the eff I want! And I'll give you all a signed copy of my work. Because I love you all. Well first I actually have to write something...

So what's on your bucket list? Do you have one? Life is too short, people! There's my inspiration for this rainy Wednesday! Mucho Love! <3

Pen Pals

When I was in 5th grade, we had Pen Pals. I remember being all excited that I was going to communicate with some fashionista girl from California or a guy who lived on a dude ranch in Texas. One day we get assigned our pen pals, and find out it's a student from a different elementary school in my town. So anticlimactic.

Do pen pals still exist? I thought about this the other day when I was responding to my jury duty summon (my first one, YAY!) I was about to write it all out and bring it to work to send it out in the mail, until I saw that it said "Go to this website to fill it out online." It took me half a second to jump on that site and do it that way instead.

Do we focus on the internet too much to communicate? I think receiving letters and writing letters is so cool. One of my best friends has a boyfriend who is overseas with the National Guard and she sends him packages and letters. It makes me wish I had someone to send a real letter to in the mail.

I've thought about writing Kurt a funny, cute letter and mailing it to his office. I mean, I'm sure he would appreciate it more than he appreciates a gigantic embarrassing birthday gift being sent to his desk! hehe :o)

I just think writing letters is cool. It sucks that now we have to worry about the creeps we give our addresses too, or getting anthrax or some poisonous thing getting shoved in an envelope..come on now! I just want to write an innocent letter!

Do you guys ever write letters to anyone or are we so used to the internet and email? I want a Pen Pal! I mean, who wouldn't want to be my Pen Pal?

And hey, I might send you guys a magical pair of jeans!

Do Fedoras look better on me or my boyfriend?

When I wasn't sneezing, coughing, itching my eyes, or hacking up a lung this weekend, I was out enjoying the gorgeous weather with my man! But damn, those allergies are Killahs!

So, who looks better?...Pshhh I totally take the prize for that one. And hey! welcome to my post where I didn't take all my pics with my iPhone! Candy came out with me this weekend. Candy is my Canon SLR. I am still learning how to use her so bear with me!

Then we set up Candy to automatically take a cutsie picture of us, while like 10 people watched.

 

Is anyone else suffering from these allergies? Literally, May 1, BOOM...there goes my nose. BOOM there goes my throat. BOOM there goes my eyes. I started taking something but we'll see if it actually works. For now, I'll just be a miserable brat until these meds kick in.

Going to the Red Sox game tonight yea yea!
