I live HERE..so who is visiting me? Pretty please

Hi how ah yah? <--- sad excuse for typing a Boston accent.

I'm linking up with *a little bit of this & that* to share with you all about where I live on the map! She had such a good idea to do this!! :) It made me happy/sad at the same time because in her map, a bunch of you live in "close proximity" to me, but a lot of you aren't!

Ladies and gents, welcome to MAH CITY. Boston.

Okay well, to be honest, I actually live about 10 minutes South of Boston in a suburban town. But I love living in Massachusetts. I will try not to make this too wordy because really, does ANYONE want to hear the history of Massachusetts? No. So, in photos taken by MOI, here are a few reasons why I freakin' love this place!

We have delicious lobster. Lobster is my favorite food of ALL TIME. Nothin better than dunking a chunk of lobster into melted butter!

Speaking of food, we have a delicious food festival called The Phantom Gourmet Food Festival. Basically it's a day filled with all types of food and drinks from restaurants all around MA and parts of New Hampshire/Maine.

I think this day I sampled burgers, pizza, ribs, ice cream, shrimp, beer, chips, etc etc! I felt like a fatty bo batty all day.

And we have amazing sports teams. Top notch, baby! Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics. Really! Even if you aren't from MA, you can go see any of these games and have a freakin' blast! 9$ beers later and maybe a few drunk d-bags, it's an awesome time!! But stay away from Fenway if you are a Yankee's fan! Justtt kidding :)

We also have Cape Cod. A lil piece of heaven on earth. It's about an hour drive from where I live to get to parts of the Cape and it's BEEEAUTIFUL! Beaches, cute shops, restaurants. Love.

One of the worst things about living in Massachusetts is the damn traffic. Literally. Why do you people NEEEEEED to be driving around causing traffic? Go home! Let me rule the road. But really..it sucks!

This past summer, my friends and I were heading into Boston to meet a friend who lives there. We're on one of the busiest highways IN the city, in bumper-to-bumper traffic. My car decides to break down in the middle of it all. Yup. Just won't start. People are beeping, cursing, flippin me the big bird. Ah! Worst ever. OH  YEAH..it also happened to be the day where it was about 10000 degrees.

Here I am broken down, freakin' out.

Poor baby!! I fixed her and got her back!

Literally, I love Massachusetts. I have had the best life growing up here and met the most amazing people. I wouldn't change it at all. I made so many memories, and will be sad if I ever have to move for a job or something.

But wanna know THE BEST thing that Massachusetts has to offer? ME!!! I know, I know, you knew that didn't ya. Who wouldn't wanna come hang out with me? I can predict the weather for your arrival. (totally not a weather girl..haha just posing for a pic!)

Blogging has allowed me to meet so many people OUTSIDE of my own state which is so gratifying! I love hearing about stuff you guys do, and stuff you don't know. A lot of my blog posts I'll mention something, and some people will comment being like huh? What the eff is that? It's fun to learn about other people's lives! I love it! It might have something to do with the fact that I'm a creepy son of a B and like to stalk and find things out about people.

So who's visiting me first!? I will welcome you with open arms and a cold brewski! :)

Did you know this about me? Or did you know that I am a copy cat?

Did you know that me, a 22 year old Boston girl, has never in my life put milk in my cereal?

No, you probably didn't know this because:

A) I don't tell a lot of people (I let them find out themselves!)
B) You never see me eat cereal because I'm not on a 24 hour
webcam for you folks to watch me on (imagine!?)

I just think its soggy. There is nothing worse than soggy cereal, except maybe soggy bread. GAG! I eat dry cereal and I eat it with a spoon too!

I also have a weird reaction to certain apples (macintosh especially). When I eat them, my gums get itchy. I don't think its an allergy though because it's only when I eat them from grocery stores. Maybe it's what they spray on it. But if I'm pickin' and eatin' from an apple orchard, I can eat any apple!

That's a green apple. It's not a mouthguard or something like that haha

Why am I telling you these facts!? I'm being a copy cat. I'm copying my girl Carissa from Carissa Explains It All.
her button!! (courtesy of her blog!)
She is funny. And she is basically awesome. And I wish she lived closer so we could go wreak havoc on any city we stumble upon. Stupid USA making states so far apart. Anywho...she did a vlog a week or so ago where she answered ya'lls questions about her!

So I wanna do it too!

Ask me some questions here on my comments and I will answer them in a vlog.

Go ahead...ask away!!

Love you all!

My AMAZING weekend in pictures

Friday's 70 degree gorgeous weather was such a tease. Wanna know why? Let me tell you why. Today is the first day of Spring, and here in New England, the forecast is rain/sleet! Yeeehaw! It's okay though. Spring is springing soon and I'm loving it.

I've had my car for about 4 years. It is a 2001 Pontiac. It was given to me from my grandmother. FOR FREE. Could I complain? Hell no! Could I hate the fact that it's rated one of the ugliest cars in the world? No! Seriously. Look at this beaster!

Pontiac Aztek. It's an outdoorsy car, came with a pop out tent. It was good to me for those 4 years! Got me and my friends around! But for the past week or so, it's been crying at me to retire it! Literally I got so sad. Don't you get sad when you have to give up a car? I wouldn't know! This was my first car of MY OWN!

Saturday morning started like any day. Woke up with my man, sat on the couch, ate cereal, creeped Facebook, talked about what we wanted to do that day. I started browsing for used cars online..this chick's not makin the millions yet!

I looked at ....pretty much anything and everything.
GMC
Acura
Infiniti
Ford
Hyundai
The list went on. My boyfriend has a BMW. It's very snazzy and I'm obsessed. So he casually says 'check out used BMW's...they're a great car and last for so long.' So of course, I jump at that, not thinking I'd find anything. But I did. A 2004 BMW X3 (The BMW SUV) It was in Boston. And I wanted to go look at it THAT SECOND. So we went. Did a little test drive, and I was in love.

The price was fantastic for my budget! I'd never bought a car before on my own, paying for it myself, all that jazz. So after consulting with the parents, they thought it'd be a perfect car for me! So Sunday I brought the parents and boyfriend with me back to the dealership and I was so surprised to see this!!

Just kidding..if you read closely, it says 'Happy 25th Birthday Dana!...Love mom and dad!'

Dana, I effing hate you.

But I loved my car! So we finaliazed some shizz and the car was MINE!!! Well, it'll be mine either tomorrow or Wednesday when I go pick it up! I felt so accomplished. It was my first big purchase in life and I'm doing it on my own which I absolutely love :) It will be such an accomplishment!

But how in the world did I go from the world's ugliest car, to this luxury thing? I will never know.

Happy Monday!
